Media Use Agreement


There is an understanding that the use of text messaging and email messaging are vital and necessary tools in order to enable and facilitate timely communication between you and your therapist. However there are some limitations with these methods of communication. These are listed below:

  1. I am available to respond to text messages and emails during my normal business hours, which are Monday-Friday 8 am to 7 pm.
  2. I am available to answer text and email messages in regards to scheduling appointments or general treatment information.
  3. It is NOT recommended that you text or email message me in a crisis, as my practice is not considered a crisis service. Please use the crisis number (855) 278-4204 or go to your local emergency room.
  4. It is NOT recommended that you send confidential client information via text or email message. It is recommended to use client initials as opposed to full names and please do not include any identifying information in these communications.

Please note that these policies are in place for convenience and also your safety in mind. I would like to be available to provide the best possible care and can only do so when I am available. Please sign and date this form, which indicates an agreement and understanding of the Media Contract. Thank you.
